How I Live Now

I'm still reading my choice book and i love it so much it is so good and it has it's own fantasy. So far I'm am like half way close to finishing the book, and I'm at a place where Daisy the main character is trying to deal with the war that is going on around her and the family. Other then that she is having the most feeling for her older cousin Edmond more like a relationship type and she can't handle herself with that. Allot is going around her and she doesn't know what to do but she doesn't really care about the war all she is feeling is calmness.

The war that is going on is the WW1 and she is like trying to wonder why is there a war and what is the point of it. A random war fighter cam to their house and he was them a million question like " how many people live here?, does the roof leak?, how many rooms in the house?, how many outbuildings?, and etc." Mostly Edmond answered and so the guy left  and Daisy and her family went swimming and forgot all about out that situation. They really don't care about it.

The relationship between her and edmond are going serious and creepy because they are cousins. She doesn't know what to do or how to deal with that. She have kissed and done other things with him while the family is asleep. She never thought this would ever happened and yet this changed her life totally.

She is going through allot and so is her family and they are just having fun forgetting about life and be themselves. So yeah she is having fun while there is a lot going on.

Meg Rosoff 2006 Teen Book Video Award Winner -- HOW I LIVE NOW

How I Live Now

I'm still reading How I Live Now and it's is really good. This story is going more in depth now it is talking about how Daisy the main character is having some type of feeling for her cousin Edmond. Her feeling for him is serious because she has never felt that way before and she is liking it even though it is a weird situation.

In other parts of the story she is dealing with the war that is occurring at that moment and how it effect her in every-way. She is trying to understand what is the point of the war and how it effects the adults but not the children.

Daisy keeps bringing up her past from her home town and how she barley misses it because she is loving it in England with her new family. Her dad called her and asked her if she wanted to come back home and she said no right away. Daisy dad felt really bad for brining her to England and now she doesn't want to come back. So he said that he will send her money and that was the last time they talked.

Other then that she is enjoying herself and having fun with the rest of her cousins and aunt Pen.

How I Live Now

This book is by far the best book i've read in awhile, i love it it's so good. It'z a girl name Daisy who lives in England with her cousins who she barleys knows and she has to live with them becauseshe was having issues with her parents in hber home town New York. So she had to go live with her cousins in England, but she is having a good time with them and she truly loves them like she's known them forever. She had a couple adventure with them and the big one is when they went camping behind their yard and did everything like you do in camping making your own food, making a fire, and etc. She is having a blast and she is home schooled she’ve always wanted that and she has cousins that takes care of her when she doesn’t want to be bother, but she appreiciates it so much that she doesn’t care that she is being bothered. So basically this is what I’ve read so far and I can’t wait to read the rest of the book. ;)

The Family Under The Bridge!

The Family Under The Bridge!

This is my second choice reading book and i truly love this book.

It's called "The Family Under The Bridge" and it's sort of a short story because i wanna read something short right now.

This story takes place in Paris in the early century and it's about a homeless man named Armand and he lives under a bridge in the street of Paris. He even finds a scrap of any sort to adorn his coat to make him look handsome. Everything he owns is in four wheels and he could push it around everywhere he goes and so his hole life is in the baby buggy without a hood. Armand loved his carefree life until something unexpected happens. He saw children's coming towards him and didn't know what to do so basically he ignored them. He tried his to ignore the family troubles but he couldn't resist because he cared to much to just ignore them. So he helped the family into moving them into his home which is under the bridge and he took care of them and helped them allot too. After awhile Armand realized that what he did was the best idea and he was so proud of it and knew a true friend when he saw one. It didn't take Armand to long to found a new family and the one he loved the most with all of his heart. Now the next thing he has to do is find a new and better home for his family instead of living under the bridge.

I read this book a couple of time and it is so adorable and funny too. This is like one of top 10 favorite books and this show you how certain homeless people are lovable and hardworking. I love this book and i can't wait to read it in school and out of school. This would be a memorable story with warmth and a lilttle humor.

Nineteen Minutes

Nineteen Minutes is a great story and can relate to every teenager. This book was a good read, but I didn't really like the characters that much, except for Jordan (& his family), Alex, & Peter's Mom. I really didn't like Josie at all. She is shallow, cocky, and selfish. Even if she didn't want to be Peter's friend, she didn't need to let him be bullied or let her friends bully others. I just never felt sorry for her. She needed to use her strengths but no she was just plain weak. And shooting Matt was just the icing on top of the cake. If she could shoot her boyfriend who she claimed she loved. It would have been so much better.
I truly felt bad for Peter been treated wrong all of his life and no could help him or save him at least. What he did was the right thing to do i say. So basically this story was good but didn't really like some of the characters and it was too sad.

My Reading Experience

My first experience with reading when I was about year old when my mother read me "Barney & Friends: A Very Special Delivery". That was the best book my mother has ever read to me and constantly she would read that to me every nigh no matter what was going on. While waiting for Tosha's mother to arrive with a special surprise, Barney and the kids learn about what makes everyone special, that is the story was about it was so good. By the time i was around 2 I memorized the book and just kept on reading every where i go, my mom would buy me other Barney's book but this particular one was the best just how Barney would teach the children that everyone is special in their on way.

I loved to read when I was younger I would ask my mom if she could buy more books for me when it comes time to christmas or for my birthday because i would get so into to the reading I won't stop. My mom would be so proud of me about me reading and as well teacher they always complement me on how good I read. "Winnie-The-Pooh" was another book i loved it was about Winnie The Pooh and his friends were going on adventure and how they made new friends and still have their old friends. They will never give up on each other and always be there.

Now a days I'm not so much into reading unless it's like in a magazine that's what interest me more, when i was in 7th or 8th grade that's where i lost passion for reading. I miss those days when I read but now when I read I just get really tired and sleepy and don't really care that much. I'm at the point where I really don't like reading as much it doesn't get my interest and just really do anything.

My goal is to really try to become the best reader as i did when i was younger and have my passion back for the love of reading. Hope that it will go on and on.
